Bespoke commissions We originally coined the phrase 'creating tomorrow's heirlooms'. A piece of jewellery which you have played a part in realising, from a vague idea or a scribble on a piece of paper to the finished item, will be treasured and enjoyed for generations. It's important for us to talk directly with our clients. By meeting you, we get to know your style and preferences and the design you have in mind. We take great pleasure in helping you to create a unique piece of jewellery. You may already have something specific in mind but if not, we are skilled at helping you along every step of the way. By the time we actually manufacture your piece of jewellery, your input - however small - will make the finished piece of jewellery more meaningful. Hand made by us, for you, or someone very special. Truly tomorrow's heirloom. Commissioned jewellery bears the Edinburgh hallmark, the only remaining assay office in Scotland. It also carries our maker's stamp 'CAC' and we have the assay master's permission to use the stamp 'INS' - the old mark which meant that the article was hallmarked in Inverness, and at that time was nearly always made in Inverness. CADCAM design We constantly look for the latest tools and equipment to make our finished work even better. We may date back to 1971, but two generations in the business help us keep up to date! Using the latest 'CADCAM' design technology, we can now take your ideas and translate them into a 'virtual' piece of jewellery. By viewing the proposed design on computer, we are able to show you a visual of the finished article in a range of different stone sizes, colours and metals. |
