Creating a bespoke piece of jewellery is a truly special experience.
Your idea may be quite vague or very specific, either way we can guide you with expert knowledge and together, create a beautiful piece of jewellery.
The design process begins with an appointment with you to share your ideas about the piece of jewellery you would like to have created. We welcome your ideas, however vague, from a scribbled design on paper to lines of a favourite poem or even a special family story.
Following this initial appointment, and through a process of email and instore communication, we refine the original ideas, sourcing gemstones and / or diamonds to fit the design brief. We are also able to remodel old pieces of jewellery, using your own gemstones. On approval of the initial design concept, we then create a technical drawing using Computer Aided Design (CAD technology) and begin to create a 3D model of the finished piece. This allows us to accurately create a digital version to help give a better understanding of how the finished design will look and can be viewed from all angles.
Once this ‘render’ has been approved, we can produce a wax model of the design, if desired, for you to try on.
Finally, the piece is cast in your chosen metal, expertly stone set and lovingly finished. We can have the item hallmarked in Edinburgh on request – the only remaining Scottish assay office – and stamped with the ‘Inverness’ stamp, having been granted special permission from the Assay Master to do so.
We are committed to delivering the highest quality jewellery – a future heirloom - and promise that each piece is created exclusively for you.
